FAQS

Will a funny name make people take our group less seriously?

Not necessarily. When balanced correctly, humor can make your message more accessible while still maintaining your credibility. Groups like “Extinction Rebellion” blend serious purpose with attention-grabbing branding successfully.

How do we know if our name resonates with our target audience?

Test it! Share potential funny & impactful climate action group names with members of your target demographic and gather feedback. Pay attention to which names they remember a week later.

Should our name reference a specific environmental issue?

It depends on your focus. Issue-specific names work well for targeted campaigns, while broader names allow for evolution of your mission over time.

Can we change our name if it’s not working?

Absolutely, though it’s better to get it right initially. Rebranding can cause confusion and lose built-up recognition.

How important is social media compatibility for our name?

Very! Check if your preferred name is available as a handle across platforms before finalizing. Short, distinct names typically work best online.
